Today was our 12 week doctor visit. It was the first time we went to Samaritan OBGYN with the new doctors since we decided we wanted to deliver at Good Samaritan. We got to hear the heartbeat again…strong and like a horse galloping. Then, as we were getting ready to leave and making the next appointment, our doctor came up and asked if we wanted to see our baby. He took us back and we got our first ultrasound. The baby was really active and we decided he/she is gonna take after James with his/her hyperness and constant movement.
Well, if you tried to get to the site the last couple days, you would have noticed that you have not been able to get to it. That’s pretty much because of an upgrade I’m planning for the software this site uses. To save me hours and hours and hours of time, I wanted to enable some things to make my life easier with the server. To enable them, I needed to delete all the databases, then to find out it would also take about a day to move the site to another server. So now everything is back up and the way it is supposed to, but the new feature is still not working. Once it is, I’ll be upgrading the software.
Kristin and I would like to announce that she is pregnant. We found out about two weeks and and have been waiting until the first doctors visit before we started letting everybody know.
During our visit to the doctor last week, we were told that the due date is September 29th, 2009. While we were there, we also heard the babies heart beat already, which we were told is a really good thing and the risk of issues drops greatly.
We will probably be updating this blog more often now that things are going on. We would post a picture of the belly bump, but there is no bump so there’s no reason.
