Siding, Front Door, and Front bush

In case you haven’t heard, we’re going to be getting new siding on our house really soon.  With the siding deal, we are also getting a brand new steal front door and new gutters added to the back of teh wrap-around porch.  The also will be putting up insulation and a vapor barrier around the entire house.  It’s going to be really nice.

While we were working in the front yard yesterday, I started trimming the bush next to the porch.  Next thing that happens, I’m trimming it with a chainsaw.  Needless to say, there is no bush next to the porch anymore.  I’ll take a picture of the house tonight when I get home (if it’s not raining) for an updated front shot and a before / after picture for later.

Fun!

Last night, James and I went to Grand Victoria and Argosy Casinos in Indiana for a while for fun. We both lost at Grand Vic…I lost a lot more. Then went to Argosy and we both came out way ahead of what we spent! Woohoo! I would recommend Argosy. It has a younger crowd, more tables, and more slots.

4th of July Parade

Not sure if we’ve told everyone, but when we moved in we were told that the little Golf Manor parade starts in front of our house. They weren’t kidding about it starting in front of our house … or that it was small. It was nice though. We took a few pictures, which we’ve already added to the photo gallery.

New Jetski

James and I took the new jetski out yesterday for a test ride at the Miami River in Hamilton and it worked great! It goes so much faster than the other ones we’ve had. We are going to take it out again next Sunday when we go boating with his family and hopefully my parents too. James and his dad are still working on getting our other jetski working that we got last year.
