Here are some videos that we’ve taken in the past couple weeks that I haven’t had a chance to put up: This is a video of us trying to get him to drink apple juice through a sippy cup that he hasn’t figured out how to use yet.

This is a video of Ethan crawling around. Yes, he started crawling a couple days ago.
Still have not found a chance to copy over the old posts and videos, but we do have two new videos of Ethan. This one is of us trying to feed him for the first time with real food, rice stuff of some kind. It didn’t go well, lots of spitting out.
Ethan has recently found his toes. Apparently he has not figured out what to use them for, so he has decided that they are used the same way his thumbs are used, for sucking on. Kristin calls this his “blackmail” video for when he’s in his teens to keep him under control.
Well, even though I work in IT, sometimes you forget the little things like backing up. The site has been down because the system it was on lost it’s disk from human error. Luckily, I had this backup laying around. Google cache has some of the old posts, that I will be putting back on as time permits and we will be adding the pictures and videos back also. Eventually, we hope to get the site back to where it was. We have a little toy that you can pull the rope and it vibrates. We realized that each time Ethan feels it vibrating, he starts laughing. Enjoy the video. I also added a new video category, so that you can easily see all the video posts.
Here’s another video we took of him kicking in his chair. I’ve been working on getting the videos converted over to look better on this site, so let me know how you think it turned out. House front, we’re still cleaning whenever we get time, which is very very rarely with Ethan. We’re doing a full cleaning, washing every wall and baseboard. I think right now we have two fully completely rooms and the other rooms just needs to be wiped down or slightly picked up. All the touch up painting and fixing is done.
I took a video of Ethan this morning when I woke him up. I’m trying to figure out a good way to post this video, so it might change at times or not work at all. Ethan’s doing good and getting bigger. He’s also growing a lot of hair and will be surpassing Daddy soon on amount of hair. We’ve had a ton of pictures lately, but haven’t really put them up. I managed to get three different days of photos up in our gallery and have a ton on cd I still need to put up. We’ve also decided that it’s a good time to move this year, so we’ve been cleaning the house constantly. That’s one of the reason posts have been scarce lately. We’ve decided we want to move up to the West Chester or Mason area. Hopefully we’ll be able to get the house listed next week and sold soon. New Galleries: Ethan had his one month doctor appointment this week. The doctor seemed very pleased with his progress. He weighs 10 lbs. 2 oz, is 21.5 inches long, and has a head circumference of 38.5 cm. He falls at about the 50th percentile for weight and length, and 75th percentile for head circumference. The doctor had Ethan on his tummy on the exam table and Ethan was pushing himself up and moving his head around a lot. The doctor said Ethan would probably roll over very soon (most babies roll over around four months) and we were hoping he would right then, but he decided to wait a little longer. Yesterday, he rolled over four times!! This is a little delayed, but Ethan has finally made it home. Kristin and Ethan came home Wednesday and we’re trying to get everything in order before we bring the puppy dogs back home. Kristin needs to be a little more healed until they are allowed back home. Right now we’re just getting through having to feed him every 1 1/2 hours to 3 1/2 hours, depending on when he is hungry. We’re also trying to get him on a better sleeping schedule. He’s currently on the being away most of the night and sleeping all day. We have a ton of information on how to fix it and we’re doing it now, just going to take a little while for it to work. Besides that, everyone is doing fine and things are finally starting to calm down. We really appreciate all the friends and family have shown by helping us out here and there. |
